In April 2024, Yuou Door Industry proudly collaborated with Indonesia's PT WASCO ENGINEERING INDONESIA to deliver three PVC flexible hangar doors. This partnership highlights our commitment to providing high-quality, tailored solutions for clients in the aviation industry.
PVC flexible hangar doors are constructed from PVC fabric combined with a steel framework, creating a lightweight yet robust door structure. Compared to galvanized steel and PU foam sandwich panels, PVC doors are significantly lighter and more cost-effective. While their wind resistance is not as high as sliding hangar doors, the steel framework inside ensures excellent durability against strong winds and dust. The PVC material also boasts waterproof, oil-resistant, and fire-retardant properties, effectively shielding aircraft from harsh weather conditions and extending their lifespan.
The door’s folding mechanism allows it to open vertically, taking up minimal headroom and making it highly adaptable to buildings with limited space. These features have made PVC flexible hangar doors a popular choice in aviation facilities.
The client specified hangar doors with galvanized steel internal structures and a PVC+steel panel thickness of 350mm. The chosen color was blue—a common option for PVC doors, although other colors are available for customization. The hangar doors measured 30 meters in width and 11.5 meters in height, making them relatively moderate in size compared to other hangar doors, with a height particularly suitable for flexible designs.
The production of the three PVC flexible hangar doors took 45 days. Throughout the manufacturing process, we conducted multiple video calls with the client, providing updates and ensuring transparency on production progress.
Due to the large size and complex structure of the hangar doors, installation posed challenges for non-professionals. After the doors were delivered to the client's site, Yuou promptly arranged for two technical experts to travel to Indonesia in October to oversee and guide the installation.
Our team worked closely with the client's installation crew, addressing challenges collaboratively. Within two weeks, the client's team became proficient in the installation process. With the project successfully completed, our technicians returned to China, leaving behind a well-trained local team.
Yuou’s extensive experience in supplying PVC flexible hangar doors in Indonesia gave us confidence from the outset. This project not only reinforced our technical expertise but also allowed us to refine our on-site installation guidance capabilities.
The hands-on experience gained during this project has further honed our skills in manufacturing and supporting hangar doors. This successful partnership with PT WASCO ENGINEERING INDONESIA marks another milestone in YUOU's journey, laying the groundwork for delivering even higher-quality solutions to clients worldwide.
Yuou Door Industry remains committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, continually raising the bar in the industrial door sector.
