In June 2024, we successfully shipped an order to Uganda’s NEC Construction Works & Engineering Ltd. The order included 24 aluminum alloy roll up doors and 7 industrial sectional folding doors. By October, 31 industrial doors had been installed, and the client provided feedback photos, expressing great satisfaction with our products.
The client selected deep grayaluminum alloy roll up doors and industrial folding doors with heights of approximately 5.3 meters and widths ranging from 5 to 15 meters. The aluminum alloy roll-up doors were designed with double-layer slats filled with PU foam for insulation, offering excellent durability and noise reduction. As part of the standard configuration, each roll-up door came with two remote controls. For the industrial folding doors, the client opted for 57mm thick door panels, with no windows or small access doors, emphasizing a sleek, secure design tailored to their operational needs.
Given the large order size and significant investment involved, the client decided to conduct an in-person factory inspection before finalizing the deal. After initial discussions via online platforms, the client sent two representatives from NEC Construction Works & Engineering Ltd. to visit our factory in Luoyang, Henan, in April 2024. During their visit, we provided a comprehensive tour of our production facilities, showcasing the production lines, sample exhibition rooms, and real-world product application scenarios. This on-site experience allowed the client to gain firsthand insights into our manufacturing capabilities and product quality, far surpassing what could be conveyed online.
In addition to the factory visit, we took the opportunity to show our Ugandan guests around Luoyang, immersing them in China’s rich 5,000-year cultural heritage. This combination of business and leisure helped strengthen our relationship, allowing the client to experience both the strength of our manufacturing and the hospitality of Chinese culture.
After their visit, the client was thoroughly impressed and finalized the contract before departing China. They expressed their confidence in our company and products, praising the quality of the doors and the professionalism of our team.
For us, this partnership was a significant achievement and a learning experience. It marked our first collaboration with a Ugandan client, and the success of this project has paved the way for future opportunities in the African market. The positive outcome not only enhanced our reputation but also provided us with valuable experience in working with clients from Africa, helping us refine our processes for future partnerships on the continent.
